Wildflower Meadow

The picture does not do this card justice!  The Wildflower Meadow samp set and the coordinating Wildflower Meadown embossing folder are also part of the Gingham Garden suite on pages 80 and 81 of the new catalog.  This card is very simple.  I stamped the image in one of our new in-colors: Calypso Coral and then ran it through the embossing folder, tied it with a piece of White Organdy Ribbon and mounted it on a Calypso Coral card.  Very easy and in person, it is very stunning.  What more could you ask for:  easy and stunning!  Oh yes, I did put on a couple of pearls for bling:)

 

A Blue Ribbon Winner!

This stamp set Blue Ribbon (#125981 clear, #131964 wood) was in the last catalog, but I dressed it up with new Designer Series Paper.  The paper is Gingham Garden #129310.  I love the bright colors!I t also has its own suite of products called Gingham Garden Suite on pages 80 and 81 of the new catalog. 

The M&M's are held in our Circle Treat Cups #116802.  I used the 1-3/4" circle punch and inserted the treat cups and added the M&M's and backed it with Silver card stock!

The Blue Ribbon stamp set also coordinates with the 1-3/8" scallop circle punch #118874, so it goes together quickly!

Every month during 2013, we’re combining some of our all-time-favorite stamps with a new, never-before-seen stamp to create a monthly “Best of” stamp set. Mosaic Madness

I have to be honest and tell you that when I first saw this stamp set, which is part of the Quatre Fancy Suite on page of 120 of the new catalog, I wasn't inspired.  I changed my mind once I started using it:)  It has a ton of versatility.  I thought it was going to be hard to line up, but it's not.  Even if you don't use the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder the punched images are easy to line up and make different designs.

I took my colors from the Quatrefancy Designer Series Paper. I didn't use the paper on this card, I just used the paper for inspiration.  In case you haven't noticed, all of Stampin' Up's Designer Series Paper now have the coordinating colors printed on the cardboard backing.  When I get a new pack of DSP, I cut out the cardboard that lists the name of the DSP and the coordinating colors.  I glue that to a letter size file folder and put my DSP inside.  Then when I cut pieces and have scraps, I can just put them inside the folder, and I always know what colors are in the paper. 

Back to the card!  The base is Pool Party, which I ran through the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder.  I stamped the images with the Mosaic Madness stamp set in Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie and Strawberry Slush (one of the new in-colors). These are the colors in the DSP. I punched out the images using the new Mosaic punch.  The small design in the middle is also from the Mosaic Madness stamp set.
