I forgot about this idea, it'll make a great little gift for all the doctors and nurses. Keep the ideas coming, even if they're recycled/updated.

Kathy Slamar

Thanks, Nancy. Sometimes the oldies are goodies!!
You have a raffle ticket!!

Pat Bailey

This is awesome. I love the idea. It would be great for a birthday gift.

Nancy Cygan

I'll be there on the 4th.

Thankfully there are battery operated tea light candles. No fir to catch your creation on fire.

Kathy Slamar

Thanks, Pat. They are fun to make for gifts. You have a raffle ticket! Keep the comments coming!

I can't make it to one of your meetings, but I have questions: Is the vellum cut straight or is there a curve to the shade?
What adhesive did you use for the seam of the shade? I think I want to give this project a try. Thanks for the ideas and keep 'em coming!

Kathy Slamar

Hi, Charlene:

Ill drop you a pattern in the mail. I used card stock vellum (not regular vellum) and I used sticky strip for the seam. Regular adhesive doesnt have enough bond.
Thanks for your comments. You have another ticket!
